King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Gulf Cooperation Council Interconnection Authority (GCCIA) to promote research studies in the fields of energy, power and electricity in the GCC countries.
Both parties will also discuss the development of a joint GCC energy market in addition to the enhancement of the electricity segment, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the recently-concluded Saudi Arabia Smart Grid Conference (SASG) held in Jeddah.
