Saudi Arabia has rejected Turkey's demand to extradite suspects connected to the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, Saudi Gazette reported, citing Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir.
“We do not extradite our citizens,” the minister told a press conference in Riyadh on Sunday evening.
“The Turkish authorities have not been as forthcoming as we believe they should have been. We have asked our friends in Turkey to provide us with evidence that we can use in a court of law. We have not received it in the manner that it should have been received."
According to Al-Jubeir, Turkish government has shown no cooperation and credibility with regard to possible evidence to be used in the course of the investigation.
