The Saudi Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monshaat) on Sunday, Dec. 12 has launched the Startup Saudi Arabia Forum at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh.
The two-day event, is held simultaneously with the seventh edition of ArabNet Riyadh conference for digital business, to support entrepreneurs and SMEs, Monshaat said in a statement.
The forum allows entrepreneurs and SMEs to benefit from various workshops that aim to develop enhanced entrepreneurship programs and boost innovation.
It also includes “Ibtaker” exhibition, which seeks to enhance innovation and enable innovators to set up new entrepreneur projects and market them locally and overseas.
Top innovators will win prizes of up to SAR 300,000 from Monshaat.
As part of its effort to support entrepreneurs and SMEs, Monshaat has recently launched a startup forum in Jeddah, and other events in Riyadh, Qassim, Asir, and Jeddah.
Monshaat aims to achieve sustainable development in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030.
