King Salman to launch district restoration program in Riyadh

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman will unveil the renovation project of Al-Turaif district in Diriyah on Sunday, Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

The restoration of Al-Turaif, the first capital of the Saudi dynasty, is part of the ‘Project for the Development of Historic Diriyah’, located North West of Riyadh city.

 

New sites, belonging to the pre-Islamic and early Islam eras, were found in three provinces including Bisha, Tathlith, and Balqarn.
