Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Transport launched today nine road projects worth over SAR 1.5 billion in the Eastern region, the ministry said in a statement.
The 550-kilometer road projects include implementing new road projects as well as completing previous ones.
The step comes as part of 37 road projects the ministry is implementing with a total cost of around SAR 3.5 billion, covering the majority of the Eastern region.
In addition, the ministry is also implementing regular maintenance and precautionary projects worth over SAR 1.7 billion to guarantee road safety.
