Hitachi expands its elevator business in Saudi Arabia

Japanese conglomerate Hitachi, in a joint venture (JV) with Saudi Arabian investment firm Mayar Holding Company, established its elevator business operations in the Kingdom, a company statement said on Wednesday.

 

The joint venture, Hitachi Elevator Saudi Arabia Ltd., aims to deliver high-quality and high value-added products and services that will realize the concept of safe, reliable and comfortable cities, the statement added.

 

With the opening of the new company, Hitachi will be able to provide Saudi Arabia with its elevator maintenance service, aiming to proactively expand its business activities in the Kingdom.
