Saudi Arabia's national carrier, Saudia, is set to launch direct and regular flights to Calicut in India on Wednesday, a company statement said.
Saudia will operate three flights a week from Riyadh and four flights from Jeddah, using a daily Airbus A330-300 aircraft with 298 seats, 36 business class seats and 262 economy seats, the airlines said.
It will be the ninth destination operated by Saudia airlines to Indian cities, along with Kochi, Hyderabad, Delhi, Bangalore, Lucknow, Mumbai, Chennai and Travendrum.
It also marks the fourth direct and regular flight launched by Saudia this year after Erbil in Iraq, as well as Surabaya and Mukasher in Indonesia.
