Dammam-based King Abdulaziz Port achieved an increase in its total goods handled during the third quarter (Q3) of 2018 by 8 million tonnes, up 4.9 percent, Saudi Press Agency reported, citing Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani).
The figures were compared to 7.6 million tonnes goods handled during the same period in 2017, the report said.
The port also witnessed an increase in the total goods handled during the first nine months of 2018 by 23.38 million tonnes, up 4.2 percent, compared to 22.43 million tonnes for the same period of 2017.
