Hypermarket retail chain, LuLu, signed an agreement with the Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG) to open two shopping centers and seven supermarkets in Dammam and Al Ahsa, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
These will be operational inside the SANG campuses to serve National Guard officials and their families.
The stores will open in the next six months and is expected to generate sizeable employment for local Saudi youth, the statement said.
“Our goal is to give employment to more than 5,000 nationals by the end of 2020”, Yusuff Ali MA, chairman and managing director of LuLu Group International, said.
