Saudi Arabia has built the first 3D printed-house in the Middle East, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030, Eskan scheme and the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NDC) said in a statement.
The house, developed on a land plot owned by the Ministry of Housing to the west of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, was completed by the Dutch company CyBe.
The house will accessible for a period of five days to specialists, workers and other parties interested in this sector.
The move comes in line with the initiative to stimulate the construction technology – a private sector initiative launched by the Local Content and Private Sector Development Unit (Nama) for technological progress in construction the statement added.
