Saudi banks’ investments in treasury bonds increased SAR 42.2 billion in the first nine months of 2018, new data from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed.
In September, the banks’ investments in treasury bonds grew by SAR 6 billion month-on-month to approximately SAR 296.6 billion.
SAMA’s foreign assets dropped SAR 9.9 billion in September to around SAR 1.94 trillion.
