Japan’s largest lender MUFG Bank opened on Oct. 24 a branch in Riyadh, it said in a statement.
Riyadh’s MUFG Bank, which already started operations, offers complete corporate banking services, including deposits, currency exchange and settlements.
MUFG Bank, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group’s banking arm, has a global network spanning around 50 countries.
In March 2017, the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAMA) granted the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ a banking license to operate in Saudi Arabia, during King Salman’s three-day trip to Japan, Argaam previously reported.
