Saudi Arabia’s public prosecution on Thursday said the Jamal Khashoggi case was premeditated, according to information obtained from the Turkish government.
“The information received from the Turkish side affirms that the suspects in Khashoggi's case premeditated their crime,” the English twitter account of Saudi Press Agency tweeted on Thursday.
“The Public Prosecution received information from the Turkish side through the Joint working group between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Turkish Republic, indicating that the suspects had done their act with a prior intention,” SPA added on its Arabic website.
“The Public Prosecutor's Office continues its investigations with the accused in the light of what has been reported,” the statement said.
