Foreign investors sold SAR 2.3 bln worth of Saudi stocks last week

Qualified foreign investors (QFIs) were net sellers of SAR 2.3 billion worth of Saudi stocks in the week ending Oct. 18, 2018, new data released by the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) showed.

 

Foreign investors sold SAR 1.6 billion worth of shares through swap agreements.

 

Meanwhile, Saudi institutions – except for mutual funds - tended to buy during the week. Government-related entities were net buyers of shares worth SAR 1.77 billion.
