1) SEDCO Capital REIT Fund will pay a 1.525 percent cash dividend for Q3 2018, at SAR 0.1525 per unit, amounting to SAR 9.15 million.
2) Southern Cement Co. is expected to report net profit of SAR 40.53 million, down by 29.1 percent year-on-year (YoY) in Q3 2018, according to consensus analyst estimates.
3) Yamama Cement Co. reported a net loss of SAR 58.8 million in the first nine months of 2018, compared to a net profit of SAR 92.1 million a year earlier.
4) Al Jouf Cement Co. on Oct. 16 signed an agreement with Palestine-based Sanad Trading and Marketing to export 50,000 tons of cement and clinker annually.
5) Saudi-based Maalem Financing has raised SAR 100 million from its first sukuk sale, aiming to develop a crowd-funding product.
6) Oil prices were up on Thursday morning, with Brent crude 0.15 percent higher at $80.17 per barrel (bbl), while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) was up 0.17 percent at $69.87/bbl.
