8 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Sunday.

 

1) Arabian Pipes won a nine-month contract worth nearly SAR 35 million to supply state-owned Saudi Aramco with steel longitudinal-submerged arcwelded (LSAW) pipes.

 

2) Saudi Public Transportation Company said its 80 percent owned subsidiary, Public Transportation Co., has secured a SAR 200 million Murabaha loan facility from Arab National Bank.

 

3) Saudi Marketing Co.’s shareholders will discuss and approve selling the company’s entire stake (99.5 percent) in its Lebanese subsidiary, Saudi Marketing and Trading Co. to chairman, Hazem Al Aswad, for SAR 115.89 million.

 

4) Saudi market regulator, the Capital Market Authority (CMA), has imposed a fine of SAR 180,000 on the Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Co. (MedGulf).

 

5) Nama Chemicals Co. has submitted its request to increase capital through a rights issue to the Capital Market Authority and Tadawul on Thursday.

 

6) Total Saudi investment in Dubai's real estate reached nearly AED 3 billion in the first nine months of 2018, the Dubai Land Department said in a statement.

 

7) Saudi Airlines Catering Co. has announced the opening the nominations for the membership of the Board of Directors for a period of three years.

 

8) OPEC hiked crude oil production by 132,000 barrels per day (bpd) month-on-month to average 32.76 million barrels per day (mbd) in September.
