Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund’s (PIF) Governor Yasir bin Othman Al Rumayyan has been ranked as the sixth most significant and impactful public investor executive of 2018 globally, by the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute (SWFI).
UAE-based Mubadala Investment Company’s CEO Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak ranks first in the list of the top 100 ranking that brings together the most influential people at some of the largest sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, pensions, and central banks, around the globe, SWFI said in a statement.
“This new, elite list allots higher points to executives who have successfully navigated current headwinds facing asset owners,” the statement added.
SWFI analyzed a number of dimensions when compiling the list, including innovation, funding, environmental circumstances, returns, unique programmes and initiatives undertaken, SWFI added.
