Mortgage loans issued to retail and corporate clients by commercial banks in Saudi Arabia edged down 0.2 percent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) to SAR 216.8 billion in Q2 2018, data issued by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed.
Loans to retail clients rose 2 percent QoQ to SAR 128.5 billion in Q2, while corporate clients received SAR 88.3 billion worth of loans in Q2, down by 4 percent QoQ.
