Saudi Arabia's King Salman has approved a $200 million emergency grant to Yemen’s central bank, the ministry of media said in a statement on Tuesday.
The decision followed an urgent request from Yemen’s President, Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, in order to stabilize the country’s economy and lift the value of Yemeni rial, the statement added.
The latest grant is in addition to the previous ones (amounting to $3 billion) made in the central bank of Yemen.
