Sahara Petrochemical Co. on Sunday said production was resumed in a plant owned by its 75 percent-owned subsidiary, Al Waha Petrochemicals Co., following completion of maintenance works.
The plant’s maintenance works, which aimed to boost production capacity, took around
16 days, Sahara said in a bourse statement.
The relevant financial impact, representing a profit decline of SAR 23.3 million, will reflect on earnings of Q3 2018, in line with the current PP prices.
Earlier this month, Sahara said production had been halted in a plant owned by Al Waha Petrochemicals due to a technical glitch.
