Saudi Arabia’s holdings of US Treasuries increased by $1.9 billion month-on-month to $166.8 billion in July, the highest level since July 2015, new data released by the US Treasury showed.
The Kingdom was the 10th largest holder of US debt in July. China and Japan topped the list with $1.17 trillion and $1.04 trillion, respectively.
Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) increased its US debt holdings by $100 million to $59.7 billion in the same period.
