King Abdullah Economic City’s (KAEC) Industrial Valley has inked a deal worth over SAR 32 million with Creet International Contracting Co. to develop the infrastructure of sector “D” within the fourth stage of the valley, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
The sector to be developed has a strategic position at the entrance to the Industrial Valley and near King Abdullah Port. It’s also connected with the deposit and re-exports area.
The land will be divided into different areas for selling or leasing for various industrial and logistic operations and activities. Other areas will also be allocated to serve the commercial sector and business services.
KAEC’s Industrial Valley has recently disclosed completing the paving work for infrastructure of the fourth stage. The city was also awarded the International Finance Award (IFM) as the fastest growing industrial zone in the GCC region for year 2017, with regard to logistics, industrial economies and the availability of advanced infrastructure.
