Saudi Arabia has published the regulations of the General Real Estate Authority on its official gazette.
The authority aims to improve the efficiency of the Kingdom’s asset management, define the best investment opportunities, lay out policies and develop a related data base.
The authority has the power to set-up or partner in firms to help in achieving its goals.
The Saudi cabinet recently approved converting the State Property Department into a general authority, to be named General Real Estate Authority, Argaam reported.
