Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh has been ranked 69th among the world's top 100 financial centers, according to The Global Financial Centres Index 2018 ranking released on Wednesday.
Riyadh was ranked higher than Mumbai, Rome, Moscow, Hangzhou, Helsinki, St Petersburg, the rankings revealed. The list was topped by New York, followed by London and Hong Kong in second and third positions, respectively.
Among other cities in the Arabian Gulf, Dubai had the highest spot with the 15th rank globally, followed by Abu Dhabi (26th).
