Saudi Arabia closes SAR 4 bln domestic sukuk issuance

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Finance has sold SAR 4 billion worth of domestic sukuk under the Saudi Arabian government SAR-denominated sukuk program.

 

The 07-2018 sukuk issuance was divided into three tranches: the first one valued at SAR 2.25 billion, maturing in 2023; the second tranche worth SAR 500 million, maturing in 2025; and the third was set at SAR 1.25 billion, maturing in 2028, a statement published by Saudi Press Agency said on Monday.

 

The new issuance takes the total amount of the 07-2018 issuance to SAR 7.465 billion.
