Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Housing launched four new residential projects under Sakani program in partnership with private developers, to build 6,499 units.
The units include villas, apartments and townhouses across Riyadh, Khobar, Al-Taif and Rabigh, the ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
Riyadh’s residential complex will be built on a total area of over 2.7 million square meters (sqm) and will provide 5,590 villas and apartments.
Al-Taif project, which comprises 488 residential units, will spread on over 100,000 sqm.
The remaining two developments in Khobar and Rabigh will provide 188 and 233 residential units, respectively, the statement added.
