Earlier this week, NEOM said that it would soon reveal its advisory board which would include “a team of the world’s leading minds and experts, combining the best and brightest global experts to develop the future.”
In October 2017, Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman announced the launch of the $500 billion megacity, which will be set up on a total area of 26,500 square meters in northwest Saudi Arabia.
The site will be the main entrance to the King Salman Bridge, linking Asia and Africa, and will extend across the Egyptian and Jordanian borders, rendering it as the "first private zone to span three countries."
The first phase is expected to be completed by 2025.
