Saudi Arabia’s air defense forces intercepted Friday night a ballistic missile fired by Houthi militia toward the southern city of Najran, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The attack targeted densely populated residential areas in Najran, close to the border
with Yemen, said Colonel Turki al-Maliki, spokesman for the Arab coalition in Yemen.
However, the missile was shot down in an unpopulated desert area, he added.
