Saudi Arabia is considering further measures against Canada for interfering in its domestic affairs, Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs, said at a press conference on Wednesday.
"A mistake has been made and a mistake should be corrected," Al-Jubeir said, adding that the Kingdom will not accept dictates or interference in its internal affairs from Canada.
In addition, two operations rooms have been set up at the Saudi Embassy in Canada to follow up on the affairs of Saudi citizens in Canada.
Saudi Arabia has condemned Canada's interference in its internal affairs and rejected the accusations over legal measures taken against certain individuals, Argaam earlier reported.
Earlier this week, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it would freeze all new trade and investment with Canada over its interference in the Kingdom's internal affairs.
The Kingdom recalled its ambassador to Ottawa and expelled the Canadian envoy to Riyadh. It will also put on hold all new business and investment transactions with Canada while retaining its right to take further action.
