Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, one of the world's biggest indoor theme parks, opened in the UAE capital on Monday.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, inaugurated the 1.65 million square feet theme park, state news agency WAM reported.
The destination opens to the public on Wednesday.
The branded indoor theme park has been developed by Miral Asset Management in partnership with Warner Bros Entertainment at an estimated cost of $1 billion.
The park allows visitors to explore six concepts, including DC’s Metropolis and Gotham City, as well as Cartoon Junction, Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch and Warner Bros Plaza.
Home to a total of 29 rides, interactive family-friendly attractions and live entertainment shows, the park will also offer themed dining experiences as well as shops featuring bespoke Warner Bros merchandise, the report said.
