Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy is hosting the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) delegation this month for an integrated review of its atomic energy infrastructure, it said in a statement.
The delegation, which will hold the review from July 15 until July 24, will assess efforts to the Kingdom to develop infrastructure for the development of atomic energy for peaceful uses as well as ensure it is harmonized with IAEA requirements.
The IAEA will make recommendations and proposals following its review.
The Saudi nuclear regulator will then develop an action plan in cooperation with business partners and with the participation of government agencies, the statement added.
