Alujain Corporation (Alujain) might not be able to disclose its financial results for Q2 2018 on time, as the National Petrochemical Industrial Co. (NATPET), which is 57.4 percent-owned by Alujain, may be late to reveal its results.
NATPET was late to hold its annual general assembly meeting, which delayed appointing its external auditor, Alujain said in a statement to Tadawul.
Alujain vowed to take all necessary measures to secure the company and its shareholders, and will exert all efforts to release its financial results on time.
Alujain stressed that all its operations and subsidies are working according to plan, as the delay in announcing financial results is a matter of procedure and has nothing to do with performance, the statement said.
Any developments will be revealed as they occur, it added.
