Saudi transport ministry inks 23 road deals worth SAR 1.7 bln

Saudi transport minister Nabil Ala'amoodi signed today contracts with 18 firms to implement 23 road projects across the Kingdom worth SAR 1.74 billion, the transport ministry said in a statement.

 

The projects were approved and included in the state budget for 2018, among 75 projects with a total cost of SAR 2.7 billion.

 

The road projects include seven projects in Makkah, six in Riyadh, four in Asir, two in the Eastern Provence and one project in each of Hail, Al Baha and Tabuk, in addition to a special project to implement the warning vibrations technology on some roads across the Kingdom.
