Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) on Monday named Darren Davis as the new acting chief executive officer, effective July 1.
Davis, who is currently the senior vice president finance and chief financial officer (CFO), takes over the role from Khalid bin Salem Al Rowais, who resigned due to the health reasons, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
Al Rowais will continue to work as a senior executive advisor, it added.
Davis joined Maaden in 2012 and was appointed as CFO in 2016. His experience includes corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic advisory.
