Saudi Shura Council will resume its ordinary sessions on Monday, June 25 after Eid Al-Fitr holidays, the official news agency SPA reported.
The council will discuss several issues, mainly amending Article 25 of the state revenue law.
Other recommendations by the economy and energy committee on the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority’s annual report for the fiscal year 2016/2017 will be also discussed.
Shura council members will also address proposals for easing foreign direct investments to achieve objectives of the National Transformation Program 2020 and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, in addition to reviewing investment policies to enhance the role of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to economic growth.
The proposal for the national credit savings law (formerly, the Saudi Credit Bank) as well as criminal offences relating to Tadawul-listed companies will be also addressed.
