Saudi Aramco’s $150 mln Berri pipelines project to finish in Q3 2019

State-run Saudi Aramco’s $150 million project for the installation of five pipelines at the offshore Berri oil field in Saudi Arabia is scheduled to be completed by the third quarter of 2019, MEED reported, citing industry sources.

Bandariyah International and US-based Dynamic Industries won the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract of the project in January last year.

The project’s scope of the work, which is being delivered as part of Aramco’s long-term agreement (LTA) program, includes installation of five pipelines, fabrication and demolition works, and associated facilities, MEED added.

The long-term agreement (LTA) approved contractors included Italy’s Saipem, Indian Larsen & Toubro Hydrocarbon Engineering/ Uk’s Subsea 7, Saudi Dynamic Industries, US McDermott International and the UAE’s National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC).

Aramco intends to review offers from companies that are not from its contractor pool; as it announced in February that it is preparing to expand the offshore contractor list.
