Saudi Aramco awards NPCC offshore contract

State-run Aramco awarded the UAE’s National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) the installation contract of ten oil and gas jackets located across the Marjan, Safaniya and Abu Safah fields, MEED cited industry sources Tuesday.

 

The long-term agreement (LTA) approved contractors included Italy’s Saipem, Indian Larsen & Toubro Hydrocarbon Engineering/ Uk’s Subsea 7, Saudi Dynamic Industries, US McDermott International and the UAE’s NPCC.

 

The news website highlighted that scope of the work includes Installation of oil and gas jackets, tie-in platforms, trunklines, associated offshore gas facilities, and associated facilities.

 

Earlier in June, NPCC submitted the lowest bid price of $232 million for a contract to build a desalter train in Kuwait for Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), MEED reported.
