Saudi Air Defense intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by Houthi militia from Yemen on Sunday night towards Jazan, a densely populated civilian area, according to a statement published by Saudi Press Agency.
Debris from the missile caused no casualties, Colonel Turki Al-Maliki, the official spokesman of the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen, said in a statement.
On Saturday, three civilians were killed in the Jazan governorate from a missile launched by Houthi militia.
