Saudia adds two new Airbus A320 to its fleet

Two new Airbus A320 aircraft arrived at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah to join Saudi Arabian Airlines’ (Saudia) fleet, the national carrier said in a statement.

 

The move is part of Saudia’s transformation program that aims to modernize its fleet, and increase it to 200 modern aircraft by 2020.

 

The two airplanes are part of a 50-aircraft purchase agreement the company signed on 2015, of which 20 Airbus A330-300 two-lane aircrafts have been received by mid-December.

 

The seating capacity of the Airbus A320 is 144 seats, 12 for business class and 132 seats for the economy class.
