Crown Prince said to visit Russia for World Cup 2018 opener

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will visit Russia to attend the opening match of the FIFA World Cup soccer tournament, Interfax cited Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying on Friday.

 

He indicated the Crown Prince is “likely to meet” with President Vladimir Putin during his stay.

 

Saudi Arabia will face Russia in Moscow on June 14 for the inaugural match of the World Cup.
