Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday announced adoption of a joint strategic strategy for integration between the two countries in the areas of economy, development and military through 44 projects.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed chaired the first meeting of the Saudi-Emirati Coordination Council in Jeddah on Wednesday, Saudi Press Agency reported.
The strategy, called "Ala'azm (Determination) Strategy", was discussed by 350 officials from the two countries from 139 governmental, sovereign and military bodies, over a period of 12 months. It focused on three main pillars: economy; human and knowledge; and politics, security and military.
The two countries decided to implement the strategy in 60 months. The plan aims to build an integrated model between the two countries that supports joint GCC cooperation.
