Raytheon Emirates signs lease with Mubadala to open UAE headquarters

Raytheon Emirates, a wholly owned subsidiary of defense contractor Raytheon Co., said it has signed a long-term lease with Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund Mubadala to open its new UAE headquarters at Abu Dhabi Global Market Square.

 

The new location will be ready for occupancy this year, Raytheon Emirates said in a statement.

 

The lease provides for some flexibility for future expansion of Raytheon Emirates’ headquarters, it added.

 

The US-based manufacturer of defense systems set up its wholly owned subsidiary, Raytheon Emirates, last year.

 

The subsidiary was planned to oversee Raytheon’s operations in the UAE by expanding services in the fields of cybersecurity, effectors, air defense and sustainment, and advanced technology.
