UAE liberalized fuel prices about two years ago to mirror global crude oil market.
Crude oil prices have been climbing this year, backed by tightening supply and wider geopolitical issues.
Brent crude crossed $80 per barrel earlier this month, before easing to $75-level.
The benchmark grade was last trading down 1.5 percent at $75.3 per barrel, on Monday.
