Dubai-based LUMINA, a corporate finance firm, has forayed into Saudi Arabia, launching its third geographic presence since the beginning of the year, it said in a statement on Tuesday.
The firm expects M&A activity to gain pace in the Kingdom, as the country’s economic agenda aims to raise private sector contribution from 45 percent to 60 percent of GDP.
Andrew Nichol, ex-PwC corporate finance head for Saudi Arabia, will lead the team in the Kingdom.
The new announcement comes after Rick Pudner, former Emirates NBD CEO, was named the executive chairman to lead the company’s expansion across the UK and Middle East.
