Saudi German Hospital to build hospital at Ras Al Khaimah

Saudi German Hospital on Thursday said it has signed an agreement with Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah to establish a 100-bed specialty hospital.

 

The hospital, which will initially offer seven medical specialties, is scheduled to be operational in early 2019.

 

“It will serve the residents and visitors to Al Marjan Island and the wider community,” said Sobhi A Batterjee, President of Saudi German Hospital Group.

 

He added that the hospital will cover 13 disciplines by 2020, expand the number of beds, medical and nursing team’s strength in line with the proposed expansion.

 

Al Marjan Island is a master-planned community with 6,500 planned residential units, 8,000 planned hotel rooms, 400-room wellness retreats and 600-holiday villas.
