The New York-based Citigroup on Monday opened its new office in Riyadh, at the Kingdom Tower, the company said in a statement.
In April 2017, Citigroup Saudi Arabia obtained a license from the Capital Market Authority (CMA) to conduct capital markets business in the Kingdom, Argaam reported.
The financial institution appointed Carmen Haddad to lead its operations in Saudi Arabia.
The lender lost its Saudi banking license when it sold its stake in Samba Financial Group in 2004.
