Mortgage loans provided to retail and corporate clients by commercial banks in Saudi Arabia rose 2 percent year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 211.5 billion in 2017, data issued by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed.
Loans to retail clients grew by 10 percent YoY to SAR 121.4 billion in 2017, while corporate clients declined 6 percent YoY to SAR 90.1 billion.
