Saudi regulator approves Al Hammadi-Care merger

The General Authority for Competition has approved the proposed merger of Al Hammadi Company for Development and Investment (Al Hammadi) and National Medical Care Co. (Care).

 

In August 2017, healthcare provider Al Hammadi started initial talks with Care over a potential merger. Having secured regulatory approval, the two parties shall pursue shareholders' approval for closure of deal.
