Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) will start on May 17 paying shareholders a 10 percent cash dividend, to be issued at SAR 1 per share for the fourth quarter of 2017, the company said in a statement to the Saudi bourse on Sunday.
Dividends will be distributed to shareholders owning 2 billion shares, with the remaining to be retained for the coming years.
Shareholders of record at the Securities Depository Center (Edaa) two days after the general assembly meeting date (Apr. 26) are eligible to receive the dividend.
STC had previously declared it would pay a minimum quarterly dividend of SAR 1 per share starting Q4 2015.
