Al Rajhi Capital retains top brokerage market share in March

Al Rajhi Capital retained its leading market share in the Saudi stock brokerage market in March for the sixteen month in a row, data compiled by Argaam showed.

 

The brokerage service provider grabbed 20.83 percent (SAR 36.48 billion) market share, Alistithmar Capital came second with 11.19 percent (SAR 19.6 billion) share, then Aljazira Capital with 10.69 percent (SAR 18.7 billion) market share. 

 

Meanwhile, the combined trading value of brokerage firms increased by around SAR 39.62 billion month-on-month to SAR 175.1 billion in March.

 

On Parallel Market (Nomu), the number of brokerage firms operating dropped to 24 in March compared to 25 in February.

 

Al Rajhi Capital secured a lead also on Nomu transactions, handling 18.86 percent (SAR 13.37 million) of total transactions.

 

Meanwhile, the number of brokerage firms working on exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in March reached 12. Falcom Financial Services grabbed the biggest market share on that respective market at 98.47 percent (SAR 119.7 million) of total transactions.
